It’s been a great week for mobile customers who want options when it comes to their phone plan (see our Verizon Edge and AT&T Next posts) and now Sprint is jumping on the bandwagon with a perk for their prepaid customers that aims to outdo the competition when it comes to prepaid data.
Sprint has announced that prepaid customers can now enjoy rolling data that won’t expire, with the ability to store up to 30 GB of rolled over data. So “unlike the competition,” Sprint isn’t going to let that unused data go to waste which will undoubtedly be an attractive choice to those who use data sporadically and don’t use the same amount each month.
As far as the Sprint Prepaid plans ago, there are $35, $45, and $55 plans that all include unlimited talk and text; the pricing actually revolves around that data that ranges from 1 to 6 GB of rolling data. Regardless of the plan, storing up to 30 GB of data is a good deal that can really add up over time and will help with the certain months customers use more data.
To sweeten the deal even more, Sprint has an exclusive deal with Best Buy that will allow customers to trade in their phone and upgrade to a new smartphone postpaid lease at Best Buy after 9 on-time payments without a credit check or down payment. Sounds like Sprint is opening up a whole new method for customers who wouldn’t otherwise qualify to actually earn their way to a postpaid phone plan, which is again great for those that wish they had more options when it comes to their phone plan.
